Art in the Park and More!

This week was a busy one! My club, KU Art Education Club, volunteered at Lawrence's annual Art in the Park on Saturday and Sunday. We provided crafts for children to participate in and created balloon animals at no cost for recipients. We served over 400 children over the two days, what a feat!

On Saturday evening I attended the KU School of Music Collage Concert. It was phenomenal, I highly recommend that everyone attends next year's. I also attended the KU football game at Children's Mercy Park the night before, what a loss!

During the school week I had two major textile projects due: my printed fabric and my woven cloth! Both were turned in on time and I was happy with the results. I also began the next two projects in those classes, so more fun is on the way!

On Thursday, I purchased a floor loom from a very kind couple here in town, and I am so excited to get to weave at home!

All in all, an amazing week!
